The Adriatic Sound Festival made its debut in 2025 and attracted more than 20,000 fans to the ancient Roman town of Fano. Building on that event’s success, Sangria Creative Studio created the identity for the 2026 event.

Inspired by Roman mythology and celestial symbolism, the identity “revolves around the Axis Mundi, a Latin term meaning the centre of the world,” according to a release from the studio. “The identity features icons inspired by Roman deities, including Janus, Saturnus, and Neptunus and the colour palette draws from the natural tones of the Adriatic landscape, grounding the mythological inspiration in the festival’s coastal setting.”

Custom icons, representing the sun, moon and stars, as well as gods of many realms, are rendered in animated flat and 3D forms to represent the physical and sonic energy of the festival.
