Brandpie recently helped SimonMed, one of the largest outpatient medical imaging providers in the US, to refocus its brand as a health tech and longevity leader. Built on the strapline, “More life for living,” SimonMed wants to provide a consumer-led service where everyone has access to medical imaging and can therefore make smarter decisions about their health.
The new identity had four goals:
• Simplify the complex: translate dense data into actionable human insights.
• Bridge clinical and lifestyle: create a visual language that works for clinicians and laypeople.
• Visualize motion and proactivity: stress forward momentum and clarity.
• Humanize technology: always prioritize the person behind the data.
These goals led to the creation of a wordmark paired with what the designers called “The Signal,” an undulating, wave-like curve that, in motion, represents data resolving into a solid form or answer. In static form, the shape forms an “S” for SimonMed.
