• Ellucian is a higher education, high-technology solutions company that helps colleges and universities deliver seamless, transparent services to students throughout their academic careers. The company’s previous logo was a forward-leaning “on” button, which was not at pace with the AI-based solutions that Ellucian provides.

The new logo is an “E” that appears through the negative space around simple shapes. The shapes can represent pathways, building blocks, and even some of the other letters found in the Ellucian name.

• Pearson, a company that has experienced extraordinary growth in the last few decades by providing educational publishing and related services, has a new logo. Its previous logo was a P formed from a question mark and an exclamation point. The new wordmark features more modern sans serif type and two radiating disks that suggest power or curiosity surging outward.

“Our new brand reflects our belief in the transformation power of learning,” says Ginny Cartwright Ziegler, chief marketing officer at Pearson, in a company press release. “It captures the emotional core of learning—the innate human desire to grow, adapt and thrive.”
