St. Anne’s Hospice has been a valuable resource in Greater Manchester since 1971, but despite its name, it has no connection to a church or a saint: it was simply named for the street it resides on. Now 50 years into serving patients with life-limiting conditions, the organization’s growth called for a brand update.

Design agency Truth Creative created a new identity for the hospice, complete with a new name—Moya Cole—chosen to honor Dr. Mary Patricia “Moya” Cole, one of the hospice’s founders. The signature-like wordmark is soft and personal, suggesting the care available at the facility.
