Vote for the Gold and you could win, too. (Ends Tuesday 08/16/16)

Olympic Logos 1-5

Olympic Logos 6-10

Creating a logo for the Olympic Games is no easy challenge. The designer or design team must incorporate the heritage of the host nation, the thrill of the competition and the spirit of unity that the games possess, all the while creating a simplistic look that looks and works well in all types of mediums worldwide, adhering strictly to the guidelines established by the International Olympic Committee.

With the summer Olympics now in full swing, Creative Bloq released a list of the top ten greatest Olympic logos of all time. Dating back to 1952 up until this year’s logo for Rio, the list explains why each logo was a great success and to why it was an important logo created for the design world.

Take a look at which logos made the cut and vote for the logos that you would pick to win bronze, silver and gold on Facebook. To view and read the list posted by Creative Bloq, simply click here. To vote for your top three, visit us on Facebook and vote here.

We’ll select a random winner from all of those whose vote matches that of our Olympic Logo Poll’s head judge, LogoLounge founder Bill Gardner. The lucky winner will receive a free month of LogoLounge and will be announced next Tuesday, so be sure to vote by then. Good luck, Loungers!
