King's Cross United With Rebrand

Adaptive logos

In an effort to bring together evolving residential, retail, and event spaces, Central London’s King’s Cross area has been given a new umbrella identity, created by design studio SomeOne. The fresh logo is set in a bespoke, all-caps face designed by the foundry Colophon.

Also part of the new design is a “KX” monogram built from three-dimensional letters that mirror the roof architecture of a new Thomas Heatherwick-designed building due to open in King’s Cross in 2018. The landmark roof literally ties together two historic buildings in the historic district.
