Batman Rebrands Over Time


An infographic designed by Cathryn Laver of Calm the Ham shows how the Batman logo has changed over the years—about thirty times. Launched in 1940, the first bat symbol was more illustrative, growing abstract in different ways through the 1960s, ‘80s, and ‘90s, before becoming the icon for today's Dark Knight film series.
