STOCKROOM is a new cultural center in Stockport, UK, part of the Greater Manchester area. It will house a community library, children’s learning space, café, and more. It is meant to be an adaptive space that welcomes the public to come in and experience growth.
DBD Creative created the identity for the development. From DBD’s Instagram:
“The logotype’s identity draws inspiration from the brutalist concrete architecture of the shopping center that STOCKROOM will call home. The typography reflects the large, rectangular structures that crown the building…. The word ROOM separates at the center, with the two letter O’s creating a space to showcase copy and visuals. This design choice emphasizes the adaptive nature of the brand, highlighting that what happens inside STOCKROOM is what truly defines it.”
