Fall for Dance North is Toronto’s acclaimed international dance festival. Founded in 2015, the non-profit’s goal is to make dance accessible to all by bringing in professional dancers from around the world and keeping tickets affordable. Whether people come to watch or decide to try dancing, FFDN organizers consider it a win.

The name “Fall for Dance” actually has a double meaning: one is to experience the falling (and rising) movement of dance, but also the experience of falling in love with dance. Design agency ONE23WEST used that duality to rebrand the festival by embedding hearts into the letterforms. Those hearts sway and distort, like a dancer, giving movement to the static geometry of the letterforms.
