The new Jarrolds department store logo has legs—literally. Design firm The Click has modified the lion that has been part of the store’s logo for many years so that its legs mimic the J in the new Jarrolds wordmark.

Figmint, Target’s new kitchen goods brand, has a fresh identity that is meant to suggest simplicity, affordability, and fun in cooking. The brand color, a light mint green, matches up with the other soft colors in the new product line.

Another victim of the “no cursive ever” trend, the outdoor clothing retailer Eddie Bauer script logo has been abandoned in hopes of broadening the company’s wholesale operations and awareness outside of North America. The rebrand still expresses a hint of the outdoors (a goose) and expresses in writing the company’s age, but otherwise it is thoroughly modernized.
