• Monotype has issued its 2025 ReVision report, a type trends document that the company calls a “call for action.” The report explores the intersection of typography and other sensory elements in modern multimedia; the evolving relationship between AI and design; politics through the conversation between free expression and the rule of law; aging and the form and function of type in the generational continuum; the role of design and typography in instigation, mediating, and processing conflict; and the intersection of typography and the environment.

• Design Week interviews design luminary Neville Brody on the future of design following his recent OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire) award. Education and AI will be at the center of design’s prospects, he says.
