Amateur- and corporate-level baseball teams are burgeoning in
popularity, and until recently, they had no organizational body behind
them. Enter Japan Baseball System, the operating company behind a
new app called Grass, which helps match teams based on skill and
experience levels.
Designer Kento Yoshida of Kento Creative had many visual baseball
metaphors in mind when he started work on the new logo for Japan

baseball. After plenty of sketches and lots of thinking, the concept of
four interlocking baseballs took shape. Incorporating red and white,
national colors for Japan, naturally completed the brand.
