Design agency Cotton has created a brand plan for an organization at Cornell University named Backslash. That plan is built on a new typeface that in turn is built by a backslash pattern generator. The result is a brutalist design that is both challenging and thought-provoking, a perfect match for the organization’s goals.
According to its website, Backslash “funds artists whose practices are nonlinear, unconventional, unexpected, adventurous, intense, surprising, [and/or] questionable.”
