The National Education Nature Park is not a single place: instead, it’s a network of natural spaces that are partnered with nurseries, schools, and colleges in an effort to get kids outside and connect with nature. Out of Place Studio created the new identity for the far-reaching program.
The new identity had to play nicely alongside the identities of many organizations, including that of the Royal Horticultural Society as well as those of many schools and parks. Out of Place designers created a blossom of green leaves to serve as the client’s core logo and teamed it with a wide range of cut-paper-like illustrations in a range of natural colors. The style of the art appeals to kids and adults alike without being patronizing.
