IHH Healthcare is one of the world’s largest private healthcare providers; it operates over 140 health care facilities across 10 countries. As part of a multi-year project to better connect all parts of its services, the company asked Landor to create a new identity.

The new system was built around the tagline, “Catalyst for Better Care.” Balancing the gravitas of medicine and the warmth of human care, the design is built on the concept of how cells grow outward and connect from a single point. This represents expanding knowledge and care, radiating outward. The spaces between rays can be filled with brand colors, photos, art, and information.

The logo itself is just the letters IHH, but the capital H’s are partially built from lowercase h’s. The design accomplishes two things: first, it combines the gravitas of capital letters—representing medicine—with the warmer nature of lowercase letters—representing human care. Second, the flowing strokes within the H’s create forward- and upward-moving forms.
