Visa has a new brand identity created by Mucho, the design form that will also oversea the client’s multi-year brand transformation from credit card company to a financial services group.
Mucho designers developed six design principals—“include everyone everywhere”, “lean into the future”, “lean with the heart, balance with the head”, “show up fully and boldly”, “simply powerful” and “set the stage for amazing”—that will serves as guardrails for the long-term project.
Aardman, the animation studio responsible for such much-loved characters as Wallace and Grommet, as well as immersive 4D experiences and 3D video games, has a new, less “wonk” brand identity aimed to give it more equal standing with such competitors as Disney and Dreamworks. A delightful part of the new plan is that it includes the literal thumbprints that are left in the plasticine modeling clay used to create its characters.
