World Wildlife Fund
Grey London is offering a new logo, free of charge, to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) that the agency feels better reflects conservation today and in the future. The new design replaces the panda—no longer an endangered species—with the far more vulnerable polar bear. Grey has also offered, also without charge, the development of an entirely new corporate brand. Read more here.
The Swan Hotel
Such a beautiful logo brought to our attention by LogoDesignLove: the Swan Hotel, a public house and hotel in rural Essex, enjoys an elegant identity created by Gareth Proctor. It elegantly blends concept and typography in a simple, extremely memorable monogram. See more here.
Minnesota State Logo
Minnesota has a new state logo that is meant to communicate just the basics—MN. It is part of a larger identity that will bring all state governmental bodies under one brand. The state’s Department of Transportation is the first division to roll out the new identity.

According to a release from the state of Minnesota’s communications office: “The M and N in the new logo reflect the state as a whole, and the text attached describes the specific agency. This is a unified state brand.” Visit Minnesota’s Department of Transportation website here.
