Pentagram has created a new identity for the house and museum that matches the author’s sass and modern spirit. The design is centered on a lettermark based on a cursive A found in an Austen letter from 1815: it gracefully now includes the author’s initials, J and A.

Further, a 12-sided stamp that contains the monogram and the name of the house was inspired by the 12-sided writing desk that Austen used. Color inspiration for the new system as actually found in original wallpapers and construction materials used in the house.
