NYC & Company has a new name—New York City Tourism + Conventions—and a new brand, created by design firm 2×4.  The new identity represents the visual textures and patterns of the city, but also its architecture, energy, and its five boroughs.

The language of luxury branding has become subtle and not shouty, according to a Vogue Business article.

“In 2023, overt logos are out and visual signatures—such as the inclusion of motifs or adoption of certain colours—are in. A sea change in consumer attitudes has prompted the return of quiet luxury,” according to the piece. Read more at
