Why did Google's Android rebrand?
The goal of Google's Android brand revamp is to make it more inclusive and accessible for customers everywhere. For example, its previous brand designs did not meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, so brand colors were brought into line so that people affected by specific color–blindnesses can still appreciate and "read" the new designs. Software versions will now be numbered, rather than be given dessert names such as Froyo and Nougat, which not every person in every region could pronounce or even comprehend.
