Old vs. New Logo

The design company, known for its work with sports organizations, was brought in to create a new look and feel that would more closely represent Europe as well as show how sports play a crucial role in unifying the continent.

Vision Rationale

In the new design, pieces of a mosaic-covered globe represent the 50 members of the EOC. At a special ceremony where the design was revealed, a representative from each of the 50 membership groups placed a piece into the design. The pieces are placed in a specific pattern, not randomly or chaotically, giving the design a stable, dependable feel. Blue was selected for a sense of inspiration and potential.

Merchandise

JTA is also developing an umbrella branding for other EOC events, including the European Games.
