Gulf Petrochem, a UAE-based integrated energy services provider, has rebranded as GP Global (curiously, taking the same name as a large Cypress-based financial consulting firm). The new identity was released in late January and, as of this writing, has not converted its website or other visual properties to reflect the new brand treatment: only the logo has been released.
According to a company release, the new logo is meant to indicate a growing international presence. From the release: “GP Global’s new logo represents the path made by a single, metaphorical atom, an element embedded within its structure as a circle. A warm colour spectrum and use of gradients are representative of reactive levels of energy and intensity. ”
