Does Adobe have a new logo or doesn’t it? A recent Fast Company article reports that a new and definitely improved design that is being used to promote Adobe’s new generative AI apps has been called a “wordmark” by in-house brand managers, but they say it’s not a new logo.

“It’s not replacing the logo; it’s just a new expression in the way that we are creating the way our brand shows up in the world,” says one manager.

Like some sort of retail snail, Overstock plans to move into the intellectual property shell left behind by bankrupt Bed Bath & Beyond.

Overstock’s CEO says his 20-year-old company needed a rebrand. Instead, it will adopt the BB&B brand and transform the resurrected name into an online only store, just as Overstock has always operated.

It seems like a curious move until you understand the numbers: the additional Bed Bath & Beyond shoppers—who accounted for more than $1 billion in sales last year—will triple Overstock’s existing customer base.
