Lippincott has created a new identity for the Better Homes & Gardens brand, representing an agency that now includes its flagship magazine, a large digitial platform, and a wide range of home decór products. In 2009, Lippincott also created the identity for BHG’s parent corporation, Meredith.
The new logo replaces the “and” in the old design with an ampersand, and it untangles the awkward word stack that has been in place since 1965. The new logo also benefits from a customized typeface that provides better balance and weight in the new nameplate.
