YouTube has a new logo courtesy of its in-house design team, as well as a number of performance updates.
The new design has been described as evolutionary, not revolutionary. It’s a refresh that includes a new typeface and color scheme. Gone is the television screen shape and the awkward visual split of You and Tube. The screen shape has morphed into the incredibly successful play button that has become iconic for the brand. That the play arrow now points at the name makes the design even smarter.
