Before illustrator Haddon Sundblom created the very definition of a jolly Santa for Coca-Cola in 1931, Santa definitely looked like the kind of guy who only gave out coal and creepy vibes. Sundbloms rebrand cemented Santa as the anti-Belsnickel of American Christmas.
But after 87 years, is Santa ready for a makeover? A very limited survey asked people what they preferred to see in their Santa. Its all very tongue-in-cheek, but some of the results raise interesting questions of their own.
