Ribbon-Like Designs

• Car subscription service Roam needed a logo that visually suggested the seamless ease of using its service. Good&Ready created a road-like design that helps users—many of whom are newbies to car subscription—understand that they can get any car they want, for as long as they want, plus insurance, maintenance, and roadside assistance, for one monthly fee.

• Mural, a collaborative intelligence company, uses the model of a digital whiteboard and a spirit of play to help teams work more effectively, whether they are at home, in the office, or anywhere else in the world. The company recently worked with COLLINS to create a new identity, tone of voice, and design system that visually expresses Mural’s collaborative goals.

Information on the new logo from Mural’s website: “It’s strong, provocative, and rooted in concepts of structure and play. Those foundational black bars you see on either side of the ‘M’ open up a colorful space with plenty of room for imagination, exploration, and movement.... Our new colors are deliberately bright, optimistic, and energetic (like how we imagine collaboration should be), with just enough depth to still feel warm and welcoming.”
