Mars Looks to the Future

Mars Inc. wants you to know that it's more than just about candy. Its brands also include pet care products and foods, as well as non–candy food products for humans. Toward educating the public about its entire portfolio, Mars has a new logo, icon, and set of sub–logos that delineate each division.

The new identity push also puts forward the company's new corporate mission: "The world we want tomorrow starts with how we do business today, " or in its abbreviated strapline form,  "Tomorrow starts today." The altruistic stress is meant to convey that Mars is not only a good company to buy from,  but also a good one to work for.
