London-based SomeOne has designed the first corporate identity for the new African airline FastJet. An African Gray Parrott plays company mascot and appears throughout the visual system, including in the livery design. The African Gray is known for its intelligence and so symbolizes the theme of smart travel and communication in the branding. “FastJet is the new smart way for Africa to travel,” says Simon Manchipp of SomeOne. “The organization has launched with an equally smart way to communicate with its customers, staff and public at large.”
