An Iteration On Infinity

Visual Studio Code, Microsoft’s cross-platform code editor, has a new logo. Its signature blue color has markedly been left behind.

“We took our time to iterate on a number of &lsquo,editor’ related symbols before pivoting to a subset of the infinity symbol,” says Chris Dias, a member of the Visual Studio Code design team. The modified infinity symbol is meant to suggest openness, and it now contains a suggestion of the letter V.
