Minneapolis Has a New Look



The "City of Lakes" revealed a new logo that will represent Minneapolis as it seeks to boost tourism as well as employment. The visual identity extends to a revamped Minneapolis.org website and will also appear throughout the city. It comes in advance of a statewide rebranding that Explore Minneapolis Tourism will launch in 2012.

As a Minnesotan I think this does a nice job of capturing Minneapolis. I think the vibrant blues and greens are a nice contrast to the grey used and help to give it a current vibe. Nice work, I can't wait to see the rest of the campaign.
