Google has updated its favicon, simplifying the color to blue and highlighting the recognizable lowercase "g" of its previous favicon.

I agree beth, it looks like someone made it on msword. It could pass more as a concept than a logo

Cool now it looks like facebook - maybe I will accidently click in then accidently sign up!! WHY??? sorry but I think like the ebay logo taken all of the fun and graphic design out of it.
