I commented on this article on the site a week or so ago and I'll say it again here: the article is poorly labelled/titled in that it's comparing apples and orchards. Some logos cost what they list, like NeXT, but other costs are for complete re-brands.
Very interesting how salesmanship comes into play when trying to make a living as a designer. It's also mind boggling how much some of these logos sold for.....this industry is truly wide open when it comes to pricing.
